About Vanmali Candles Company
Vanmali Candles Company was born from Georgina’s love for her Granny, a proud Scotswoman who worked in a candle factory and bakery. Growing up surrounded by the warmth of her Granny’s traditions, Georgina was inspired to create candles that honor these memories.
The brand was started to bring people together, blending Georgina’s love for tradition with Kavesh’s South African Indian heritage and global perspectives. The two met and maintained a long-distance relationship before marrying in a traditional Vedic ceremony, which deepened their appreciation for cultural diversity.
Inspired by global cultures and seasonal transitions, they envisioned a candle brand that celebrates unity and connection, crafting collections that resonate with people from all backgrounds.

How should I burn my candle for the best results?

1. On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface, reaching the edges of the container. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle’s life.
2. Before each use, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This helps control the flame, avoids soot, and reduces the risk of smoke.
3. For best results, burn your candle for 2-4 hours at a time, and never exceed 4 hours. This maintains the candle’s integrity and keeps your space safe.
