Vanmali Candle Co. Return & Refund Policy

At Vanmali Candle Co., we take pride in the quality and care that goes into each candle. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help! Please review our return and refund policy below.

1. Returns Eligibility

  • Unopened and Unused Products: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in the original packaging.
  • Return Period: We accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards
  • Sale items (when marked as final sale of item)
  • Custom or personalised items

3. Return Process

  • Contact Us: Email us at [your email] with your order number, the reason for the return, and any relevant photos if the item is damaged or defective.
  • Shipping Returns: Once your return request is approved, ship the item back to us. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or defective. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without it.
  • Inspection and Processing: Upon receiving the returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your return within 3-5 business days.

4. Refunds

  • If your return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
  • Partial Refunds: If the item shows signs of use or is not in its original condition, we may issue a partial refund at our discretion.

5. Exchanges

  • If you received a defective or damaged item, we are happy to exchange it. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item to initiate an exchange.
  • Process: For exchanges, we will send you a replacement item after receiving the original product and verifying its condition.

6. Lost or Damaged Items in Transit

  • Vanmali Candle Co. is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping. If your order arrived damaged, please notify us immediately with photos of the product and packaging so we can assist you with a claim.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if your item is damaged. Email us at georgina@vanmalicandlescompany.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged product and packaging so we can evaluate and address the issue.

If you received a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We’ll work with you to either replace the item or provide a refund, depending on availability and your preference.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
European Union Cooling-Off Period: For customers in the EU, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period. This means you may return your item within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, even if the item is not defective or damaged. This applies only to unopened, unused items in original packaging.
